U.S Army Veteran Spouse, Chasity, was injured in a serious car accident and decided to try Club Pilates to expedite her recovery.

Chasity's story:

I am a U.S. Army veteran spouse with three beautiful children. I have worked with the Army and Air Force as a civilian.

In June 2018, I was in a car accident that resulted in injuries to the spinal cord. In April 2019, I had neck fusion surgery with other additional recommended surgeries. After surgery, I spent my time doing physical/aqua therapy for the remainder of 2019 through 2020. With only seeing minimal results, I was optimally not where I wanted to be, physically.

I attended Club Pilates in January 2021 twice a week and then progressed to unlimited in October 2021

I can honestly say I love all my sessions. The sessions have helped increase my flexibility, strength, stability, and conditioning. It has taught me to stretch correctly and to maintain the proper breathing techniques.

My favorite class is the CP Cardio Sculpt 1.5.

It has pushed my cardio to a level I never thought was possible. It enabled me to perform at a gym level I thought wasn't attainable—an actual unexpected ten-month experience. I feel great after each class, with having less chronic pain and fatigue throughout my day.

It has been an incredible journey with healing the mind and body.

I have learned a lot of proper techniques to apply in the studio and at home with doing activities. The statement "Do Pilates, Do Life!" I found within my recovery journey at Club Pilates. Thank you to the great instructors and great staff.
